Just Some Rudimental Information:

  • Has played snare and drum set for literally for as long as he can remember.
  • Studied tap dance at three years old. That led to a serious interest in rhythm and drumming.
  • Started to study rudimental drumming at five years old. Continues to learn, practice and study every day.
  • Performed with the Perth Citizens Band at seven years old. Youngest band member in history of the band.
  • Featured as percussion soloist (performing Connecticut Half-time) with the Citizens Band at eight years old.
  • Designs and builds traditional rope snare and bass drums
  • CADRE 2005 Individual Snare Drum Champion and runner-up in the 2006 competition.
  • Member of the 2006 & 2007 DCA Ensemble World Champion Drum Line
  • Member of the International Association of Traditional Drummers (IATD)
  • Placed second in the 2007 DCA Individual Snare Drum Championhips with a score of 93

Currently Performing With:

  • CADRE Snare Soloist, CADRE I & E Ensemble and CADRE Competition Quartet
  • The 2006 North American Champion Toronto Police Pipe Band.
  • Member of Canada's oldest town band, the Perth Citizens Band
  • Lanark County Volunteers Fife & Drum Group and with the Perth Town Crier
  • Regularly sit in with club musicians on drum set in jazz, folk, rock and fusion styles
